Red Banton Says Late Mowzey Radio Appears to Him in Dreams, Urges for Last Funeral Rites.

Veteran singer Red Banton has revealed that the late Mowzey Radio has appeared to him several times in his dreams, seemingly concerned about his unperformed last funeral rites.
In an emotional revelation, Red Banton shared that he has encountered the deceased Goodlyfe singer in multiple dreams. In one of them, he said they were at Nanganda near the Goodlyfe home when Radio appeared, smartly dressed in his signature army shoes.
“In another dream, he gave me a song that I’m still working on. Once it’s finalized, I’ll release it. He keeps coming to me in my sleep, redirecting me to hold his Lumbe. He told me he was happy and okay where he is, and then bid me farewell,” Banton narrated.
He also recounted a symbolic dream where Radio offered him a lift to a lake. “I was on my way to the lake, not knowing how to get there. He arrived in a big car, wearing a sleeveless shirt, and told me he would give me a lift. He drove me to my destination and then left,” he added.
According to Red Banton, the recurring dreams could be a spiritual sign that Mowzey Radio’s spirit is not yet at rest because his last funeral rites have never been held.
“Maybe he also appears to other people who don’t want to come to the camera, but I believe he wants his Lumbe to be done so that he can rest in peace,” Banton concluded.
Mowzey Radio, one of Uganda’s most talented and celebrated musicians, passed away in February 2018 following injuries sustained in a bar altercation. Despite his passing, his legacy continues to live on through his timeless music and the memories he left behind.
