Kabalega industrial park to start next year.
The Ugandan government says construction of the Kabalega Industrial Park in Kabaale Sub-County, Hoima District, will begin in 2026. Spanning nearly 30 square kilometres, the park is expected to bolster the country’s emerging oil and gas sector and create more than 35,000 jobs. The project forms part of Uganda’s broader plan to industrialise its oil-rich Albertine region, attracting both local and foreign investment.
