Dancehall musician Karole Kasita has revealed she has no plans of getting married any time soon, saying her current focus is entirely on her son and her music business.

Karole, who gave birth to her first child over three years ago, clarified that she is not married to the father of her child but appreciates that he fulfills his parental duties.

“I am not married but I’m not a single mother as some people would choose to say. The child’s father does what he’s supposed to do. He provides his responsibility. I don’t plan to go into marriage anytime soon,” she said in an interview with a local YouTuber.

The “Balance” hitmaker added that her son has become her top priority, and she currently has no interest in romantic commitments.

“All my mind and focus are on my child. I think because it’s my firstborn, I have so much love for him and don’t think about anything else,” she added.

Karole Kasita continues to stand out among Uganda’s top female performers, known for her energetic stage presence and hit songs that dominate the dancehall scene.
