Fatal Road Accident Claims Two Drivers Along Pallisa – Kumi Road

Police in Pallisa district has embarked on investigations into a fatal accident which claimed two lives on the 5th of November 2025 along Pallisa Kumi road in Kalaki zone, involving two motor vehicles number UBF 035N Toyota Hilux white in colour and number UBQ 293T Isuzu Elf yellow in colour.

The deceased were identified as Wasike Robert 57 a resident of Kawuku Gabba parish, Makindye division in Kampala district who was driving motor vehicle UBF 035N and Abdullah Yusuf 58 a resident of Nansenyi zone Pallisa town council who was driving motor vehicle Reg number UBQ 293T Isuzu Elf who died in Pallisa hospital.

According to Bukedi North Police spokesperson ASP Wilfred Kyempasa the driver of motor vehicle UBF 035N was driving from Kumi heading to Pallisa side when he reached at Kalaki zone in Pallisa town council, he saw a pedal cyclist entering the road and tried to dodge him unfortunately he found when motor vehicle Reg number UBQ 293T Elf was coming from Pallisa side heading to Kumi and knocked him head on and he died on spot the other driver of Isuzu Elf was rushed to Pallisa hospital where he also died.

Body of the driver of motor vehicle Reg number UBF 035N was retrieved and conveyed to Pallisa hospital pending postmortem.
