Some were so shocked they called for Erling Haaland and co to be eliminated from the World Cup
The Man City star is now heading for his first ever World Cup, but it was another Norwegian who stole the headlines.
Borussia Dortmund ace Ryerson, 27, started at right-back for Stale Solbakken’s side in Milan.
And the full-back left fans in awe as he made his way to the pitch with a bold leopard-print haircut.
That led to intense reaction across social media, with some left so shaken that they even called for Norway‘s elimination from the World Cup for that hairdo alone.
One fan tweeted: “Why did I just find out that Ryerson has leopard print hair? This is actually very important.”
Another commented: “Ryerson should disqualify Norway for the World Cup.”
A third wrote: “What has Ryerson done with his hair?!?! Looks like the EURO 2008 ball.”
This fan said: “Norway should lose just for Ryerson’s hair alone.”
