ENTEBBE: Woman Caged for Killing Brother’s Five Year Old Son
Police in Entebbe have detained a heartless woman for murdering a five year- old boy, a son to her brother who left the country for some work in the Middle East.
The suspect was identified as Hellen Aputo, a resident of Nkumba/Bufulu zone in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso district. While the deceased innocent boy was identified as Naboth Robert.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday night 13th November, 2025 and she was arrested the following day, Friday.
The suspect’s neighbors say they heard her beating up the poor boy but since it was night, they could not intervene. They add that in the morning, they expected the young man to go to study at Benman Junior School but unfortunately they didn’t see him emerge from the house.
Neighbors add that when they went to the suspect to ask about the boy they found when she had already cleaned boy’s body and she was planning to take it for dumping. They telephoned Entebbe police which swung into action and apprehended the suspect. While the deceased innocent boy was taken to City mortuary for a postmortem.
