Why Spice Won’t Be Performing In Uganda In December.

Jamaican dancehall music star Spice, whose real name is Grace Latoya Hamilton, has ruled out her performance in Uganda’s capital, Kampala.

The concert, dubbed “Spice Queen of Dancehall Live From Jamaica,” was scheduled to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval on December 6, 2025.

Despite visible preparations by the concert promoter and some of the top Ugandan artists listed to perform at the show, it will not happen as planned.

Via Instagram on Tuesday, Spice, who is known for hit songs like Go Down Deh, Round Round, So Mi Like It, and many others, revealed that she would not be attending the event.

She noted that the contractual agreements she discussed and agreed upon with the show promoter were not fulfilled, hence her pulling out of the concert.
