Lilian Mbabazi shares love story with late Mowzey Radio

Singer Lilian Mbabazi has opened up about the beautiful and heartfelt journey that led her to bond with the late Mowzey Radio, revealing how their relationship blossomed from a simple friendship into a deep connection.

Speaking about their story, Lilian shared that their bond began long before fame, rooted in care and companionship.

The two first met as students at high school and Makerere University, where they both attended Community Physiology classes.

We cared about each other, and that is what it is. We met at school, on campus, and then again, we linked up through Jackie. So, we used to attend the same class at Makerere University of Community Physiology, and later musically.

Their friendship was later nurtured through mutual friend Jackie Chandiru, who often linked them up whenever they went out.

Lilian revealed that Radio played a significant role in helping her blend into the local music space; he even taught her how to speak Luganda since she mainly spoke English at the time.

Jackie used to make me go out, and we would bump into each other. Mowzey is the one who even taught me Luganda, because I only knew English.

Despite Radio’s association with Neverland, the GoodLyfe Crew’s famous home, Lilian noted that she rarely visited the place.
