Singer Daxx Kartel has been left counting losses after police stormed his concert venue and cancelled the show just minutes before he was set to perform.

Musician Daxx Kartel is yet to recover from the heavy losses he suffered after police abruptly cancelled his much-anticipated concert at the last minute.

The singer was scheduled to perform for thousands of fans at Gangu Grounds in Kampala, but the night took a dramatic turn at around 9:00pm when police officers raided the venue and dispersed revelers who had already gathered for the show.

According to reports, the concert was allegedly cancelled after authorities established that the singer had failed to secure the required police clearance to stage the highly publicized event.

Eyewitnesses say police arrived just as Daxx Kartel was preparing to hit the stage, leaving fans shocked and promoters helpless as the venue was cleared.

Taking to social media shortly after the incident, a visibly distressed Daxx Kartel expressed his frustration.

“BREAKING; #POLICE HAS CANCELLED MY CONCERT EVEN BEFORE STEPPING IN 😭” he wrote.

The cancellation has reportedly resulted in significant financial losses for the artist and organizers, including venue costs, sound, security, and promotions.

Daxx Kartel is a known supporter and member of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and has been actively involved in mobilization activities for the party’s presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine—a detail that has fueled public debate and speculation online.

By press time, police had not issued an official statement addressing the incident
