Miss Uganda Natasha Nyonyozi's first message; Kabale bigwigs congratulate her


Natasha Nyonyozi was crowned Miss Uganda 2024/25 on Saturday, August 3, at an event held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.

After winning the highly coveted crown, she took to X to post: "OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE who has supported me on this journey to becoming MISS UGANDA 2024-2025! Family, friends, mentors, sponsors, and fans your love and encouragement mean the world to me! #TrueUgandanBeauty #MissUganda2024."

In past interviews, Nyonyozi revealed that she had been aspiring to win the crown since she was 10 years old.

Hailing from Kabale district, the beauty has received congratulations from people from all walks of life, with particular joy coming from her home district.

David Bahati, the NRM Chairperson for Kabale and Minister of State for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, as well as the Member of Parliament for Ndorwa County West, stated: "I congratulate Natasha Nyonyonzi, our Banyakigezi daughter from Ndorwa County West, for winning the Miss Uganda Competition and bringing the crown home. We thank the parents, the Mutabazi family, for nurturing her to become the pride of our nation."

Dr. Protazio Begumisa, the former president of ICPAU, added: "I congratulate Natasha Nyonyozi upon being crowned the new Miss Uganda 2024/25. Natasha Nyonyozi succeeds Hannah Karema Tumukunde. The first runner-up was Suraya Umeimah Bashuaeb, and the second runner-up was Joan Nabatanzi
