Kyagulanyi pushes back on Museveni order, calls for vote protection
NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi has challenged NRM’s presidential candidate Museveni to ask his supporters to protect his votes rather than directing voters to leave polling stations immediately after voting.
Kyagulanyi says all the other presidential candidates support his call, as observing the election process is a constitutional right.
He made the comments in Mpigi District, where he was campaigning, and asked his supporters to remain at polling stations after voting, despite government warnings against such a move.
