Enkuuka Large Crowds Proved That CBS is Bigger Than NUP Media & We Are The Ones Commanding Buganda, Not Kavule! Radio Manager Abbey Mukiibi Brags

CBS Programs Manager Abbey Mukiibi Nkaga has thanked MTN and Gen Salim Saleh’s OWC for partnering with Kabaka’s CBS fm radio to pull off the 2025 Enkuuka edition, which he says turned out bigger and more successful than detractors wanted it to be.

In his Friday radio interview, Abbey Mukiibi didn’t make direct reference to who these detractors are but it was clearly construed by many listeners that he was referring to social media bully Fred Kajubi Lumbuye who for months led a squad of others like Isma Lubega to decampaign the Enkuuka.

These are all Robert Kyagulanyi spokespersons online and they openly urged Baganda and other people to boycott and stay away from the Enkuuka which they claimed the Katikkiro intended to use to harm NUP political interests while amplifying Gen Museveni’s re-election efforts. Lumbuye went as far as claiming that MTN yellow colours would be deceptively used to produce pictures and videos portraying this as a crowd of NRM supporters.

He and other Kyagulanyi online spokespersons, who the principal never came out to publicly contradict anywhere, also claimed that OWC’s decision to put in sponsorship money demonstrated the extent to which Enkuuka was a Museveni project.

They also went personal and castigated Abbey Mukiibi who they claimed was the conduit through whom Gen Salim Saleh’s Museveni money found its way to Mengo and into the Enkuuka organizing Committee.

Their objective was to demystify Mengo and Kabaka’s CBS radio which they say hasn’t done enough to overtly promote Robert Kyagulanyi’s 2026 bid for Presidency. They would want CBS to become overtly anti-government so that Gen Museveni gets annoyed and close it down, like he did in 2009, in order for their Presidential Candidate Robert Kyagulanyi to reap the resultant political capital.

Now Abbey Mukiibi says that the large crowds that turned up for the Enkuuka, as always, demonstrated the fact that CBS remains the most influential voice in Buganda region and the one majority subjects of the Kabaka listen to more than anyone else’s voice.

He says that, as organizers, they were so much emboldened to the extent that they have already started planning and preparing for the 2026 Enkuuka edition so that haters, like Lumbuye, can once again die in their own movie.

Isma Lubega of Kibibi, one of the influential Kyagulanyi online spokespersons, says that their propaganda worked and that the 2025’s Enkuuka edition did not attract as much euphoria as its predecessors.
