SPEAKER DARES BOBI WINE: If You Couldn’t Manage Me Mere Anita Among in Bukedea, How do you Assure Anyone you can manage a Big Political Giant like General Museveni?

During the President’s re-election campaign rally that was held in Nakawa a few days ago, Speaker Anita Among implored the crowd to stop wasting time and their votes on opposition politicians who she said will never help them at all.

Among controversially demanded to know why Nakawa voters keep believing their MP Joel Ssenyonyi when he claims to be part of the deprived and marginalized citizenry of Uganda yet his budget as LoP, and other privileges, is as big as that of Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa.

She said this means that Ssenyonyi, who she said globally travels as often as he likes, has no business mocking the poor people of Nakawa by claiming to be financially marginalized and excluded like them.

She called it dishonesty and disrespect for Joel Ssenyonyi to talk ill of and criticise Museveni for extravagancy yet the same big man from Rwakitura is the one who authorizes her as leader of Parliament to pamper the LoP with so much generosity and goodies.

She said people like Ssenyonyi ought to be grateful to Museveni who she said is the good generous old man who they keep abusing in return for political capital among their gullible voters, supporters and foot soldiers.

The Speaker also had no kind words for Ssenyonyi’s boss Bobi Wine who she dismissed as a joker for deluding himself that he can ever defeat Gen Museveni and proceed to become President of Uganda. She said this isn’t possible and there is no way Bobi Wine can effectively govern a complicated metropolis like Uganda, even if he were to get and win the popular vote.

She made it clear that being President and effectively governing the country requires a lot of sophistication, which Bobi Wine lacks.

She wondered how someone leading a political party whose entire top hierarchy was successfully infiltrated and neutralized by herself as Speaker, by planting moles among them (who managed to cajole them into giving their Bukedea Woman MP flag to her own female spy), can ever have what it takes to overcome a seasoned, experienced and sophisticated guerrilla like Gen YK Museveni.

She advised the Nakawa voters to go and eat their cassava while making money instead of wasting time investing their hopes in jokers like Joel Ssenyonyi and Bobi Wine.

The ruling NRM’s 2nd national vice chairperson also implored voters to join the winning team by voting for Gen YK Museveni and other NRM candidates down the ticket. She predicted that they will continue remaining impoverished as the opposition jokers like Ssenyonyi who they keep electing, thinking they are liberators, line their tummies
