EPL: Liverpool to be without five players for Man City clash
Liverpool will be missing up to five players when they face Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.
Manager Arne Slot said the injured players might not be fit enough to play in the big match.
Joe Gomez is possibly ready to come back, but he hasn’t started training yet after getting hurt in the game against Bournemouth almost two weeks ago.
Jeremie Frimpong, Alexander Isak, Giovanni Leoni, and Conor Bradley are still out.
Slot told reporters, “Jeremie won’t train this week, so he won’t play this weekend.
“Joe might train on Saturday. He won’t start, but he could come on if needed, since we’re short on defenders right now.”
