Angry Dad Kills 18-Year-Old Student over Affair with Daughter

Police in Matuga are investigating a murder incident that occurred on February 14, 2026, in Mabanda Cell, Gombe Division, Wakiso District.

The deceased has been identified as Bukenya Martin, an 18-year-old male student of Hillside Secondary School, Matugga, and a resident of Kirinyabigo, Kawanda–Nabweru Division.

According to preliminary police findings, the incident occurred at around 11:00pm when Bukenya was allegedly assaulted at a residence in Mabanda Cell. The suspect, identified only as Herbert, reportedly attacked the student after finding him inside his home with his 14-year-old daughter.

Police say the victim later succumbed to injuries sustained during the assault.

Following the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the scene together with his family. Efforts are ongoing to trace and arrest him.

Police have appealed to the public to provide any information that may aid in the arrest of the suspect, assuring that such information will be handled with confidentiality.
