Bobi wine’s Lawyer Granted Police Bond

Kasangati Police Station has granted Police bond to National Unity Platform (NUP) President Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine’s lawyer Tumusiime Kakuru who was arrested in the afternoon in Magere Wakiso District.

At Kasangati Police, Kakuru has been charged with Public Nuisance under case file number SD 57/16/2/26

He has been ordered to appear back at the same station on 20th February 2026 before OC CID to know the level of investigations in his matter.

Before his release, he has presented two sureties namely; Aryampa Brian and Nelson Mandela.

Tumusiime was arrested when he had accompanied Hon. John Baptist Nambeshe, NUP Deputy President for Eastern Region, and other lawyers to visit the home of Hon. Kyagulanyi.
