Outspoken Minister Otafiire Reacts To Threats Of Arresting Him With a Three Letter Word

In April 2013, the General Court Martial convicted the then Brig Henry Tumukunde who was the head of the Internal Security Organization (ISO) on charges of conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline of the Defense Forces following a statement he made on a local radio in Kampala without authorization of the proper army channels.

Several officers would be court martialed for engaging in partisan politics and would be convicted. Well, those are the old days..in the last Election senior officers were seen campaigning for Museveni and it’s business as usual….the Commander in Chief of the Defense Forces is goes political and the laws never see him. Not even the Uganda Communications Commission would go after him for the hate speech and comments he puts on his X formerly Twitter account.

He has made it a norm to go after whoever disagrees with him or his father. Weeks ago he exchanged bitterly with Minister Dr. Chris Baryomunsi who had earlier appeared on the Capital gang saying Muhoozi doesn’t speak for government and his Tweets don’t communicate the official position of government led by his father Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The exchange of Muhoozi went personal, the first son threatened Baryomunsi that he will never be minister again to which the Kinkizi East legislator said he can still survive without being in cabinet.

As he went of a tweeting rampage today morning just like he normally does, the CDF said his father President Museveni will decide what to do with Gen. Kahinda Otafiire and once a decision is made, it would take the army he leads less than a second to arrest the Internal Affairs Minister.

Over the years, Otafiire has consistently spoken against a possible Muhoozi presidency insisting what took them to the bush was to establish a presidency under Museveni not a monarch where his son would take over from him.

The outspoken army General Kahinda Otafiire few days ago appeared in a video further insisting Muhoozi can never be president. He also asserted that he loves Muhoozi as a first son but hates him as president.
