Police, CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Clash On Treason Charges Against NUP President Robert Kyagulanyo
The Uganda Police an Institution mandated to provide law and order in Uganda has clashed with the Hiding President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine on treason charges, Spyreports has established. Recently, when Kyagulanyi was addressing guests in Geneva New York, be called for sanctions against CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for offences he committed during 2026 presidential elections.
Shortly after his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Uganda Okello Oryem said that Bobi Wine will face treason charges once he steps in Uganda.
Recently,CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba on his X handle said “Kabobi thinks this ends with tweet. We are soon going to proscribe NUP as a terrorist organization,”
However to their shock and surprise police says no treason Charges against Kyagulanyi. Police Spokesperson Kitumwa Rusoke while addressing the Nation at police headquarters in Naguru today said “No treason charges awaits NUP leader Bobi Wine or Robert Kyagulanyi,”. He added that if there are treason charges against him, police will be the first Institution to break the news. “There are no treason charges against him and even any member of NUP,” Confirms Police boss.
