We’ll not negotiate with US, Trump started it’ – Iran
Iran’s top national security official, Ali Larijani, has made it clear that his country has no plan to negotiate with the United States of America.
Larijani, who is one of the country’s most influential people, made the comment on X in response to media reports that suggested Iran had contacted the United States through intermediaries to restart talks.
Larijani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, said on X that US President Donald Trump has “caused chaos in the region with his ‘false hopes’ and is now concerned about more American soldiers getting hurt.”
He said, “With his crazy actions, he has changed his own slogan of ‘America First’ into ‘Israel First’ and is willing to send American soldiers to support Israel’s search for power.”
Larijani, who was a major advisor to the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that Iranian forces “did not start the invasion.”
US and Israel have already killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after his home was hit on Saturday.
Khamenei died alongside his daughter, grandchild, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law were also killed in the strike.
The Israeli army said that Ali Shamkhani, a top advisor to Khamenei, and the head of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guards, General Mohammad Pakpour, were also killed in the strikes.
