EPL table after Arsenal won 5-0 to narrow gap on Man City and Liverpool
Arsenal had no trouble in returning to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon after they thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Gabriel opened the scoring with a good header from Declan Rice cross in the 11th minute, before Jordan Henderson scored an unfortunate own goal to double the Gunners lead before the half-time whistle.
The Gunners kept dominating in the second half and shortly after they got their third goal after Leandro Trossard finished an excellent build play from his team. Aaron Ramsdale did well to get the ball to Gabriel Jesus who played Leandro Trossard onside to beat his marker and comfortably slot the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net. The match eventually ended 5-0 at full-time with Gabriel Martinelli coming off the bench to score a brace.
