If you are a second, third, or fourth year university student looking for a high-profile internship that will add serious weight to your CV, the East African Crude Oil Pipeline project has just opened applications — and the deadline is April 13, 2025.

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is one of the most significant infrastructure projects on the African continent. When completed, it will operate a 1,443 kilometre long, thermally insulated crude oil export pipeline transporting oil from Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for export to international markets. The project also includes a nearshore marine storage and export terminal. Getting your name on an EACOP internship certificate is not a small thing.

The company is now offering internship placements to university students currently in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study who require a work placement as part of their study programme. Internships run for a minimum of ten weeks from June 2026.
