Two Siblings Found Dead in Tent on Farmland in Luwero

Police in Luwero District have launched investigations into the deaths of two siblings who were found unresponsive inside a makeshift tent on farmland in Butuntumula Sub-County.

The incident occurred in Kibiike LCI, Bamugolodde Parish, where the two had been cultivating about three acres of beans on land belonging to their late brother.

“They constructed a temporary structure for accommodation near the garden since their home in Kyambogo is some distance away,” Twineamazima said.

Reports indicate that Sobya had been staying at the site with his wife, who survived the incident.

On the morning of April 1, 2026, at around 8:00am, the wife reportedly woke up and attempted to call the two but received no response. Upon checking on them, she discovered they were unresponsive and also began feeling weak.
