Woman Dies in Gulu Domestic Dispute: Husband, Co-Wife on the Run

Police in Gulu District are investigating a suspected murder following a domestic dispute that left a 34-year-old woman dead. Amono Nasiline was found dead at her home after a fight with her husband, Tekwo Walter, 45.

The trouble began when Amono followed Tekwo to his other wife's place, reportedly unhappy about his handling of their co-wife relationship, leading to the fatal fight.

A heated exchange escalated into a physical fight as they returned to Amono's home. The altercation ended with Amono storming out of the house, collapsing, and dying instantly.

The husband and co-wife are on the run pending arrest. The incident occurred on April 3, 2026, at 8:00 PM in Penya village, Pugwiny parish, Owoo SC, Gulu District. The case was reported at Gulu District CPS at 8:30 PM under CRB 180/26.
