Ntungamo Resident Appeals for UGX 27 Million for Life-Saving Surgery
A resident of Katunga Cell in Nyabubare Parish, Bwongyera Sub-county, Kajara County in Ntungamo District is appealing for financial assistance to undergo urgent medical treatment.
Polly Nyesiga, who is battling a severe urinary tract condition, shared his distress in an interview with Boona Radio. He revealed that he has been receiving treatment from Mulago National Referral Hospital, where doctors recommended a surgical operation costing 27 million shillings an amount he says is beyond his reach.
Nyesiga explained that his situation worsened after the loss of his father, leaving him under the care of his elderly mother with no reliable source of income or property to sell in order to raise the required funds.
He further disclosed that he is experiencing painful swellings in the urinary bladder, which continue to affect his daily life. Nyesiga noted that this is not the first time he is seeking support through Boona Radio, recalling that in 2023, well-wishers came to his aid and enabled him to access treatment.
He expressed gratitude to the station’s management and all individuals who previously contributed toward his recovery.
Once again, Nyesiga is calling upon well-wishers to extend any form of financial support, emphasizing that even small contributions can make a significant difference in saving his life.
Those willing to help can send their contributions via mobile money on the following numbers: 0779307557 and 0702605667, registered in the names of Polly Nyesiga.
