A UPDF Soldier who was part of the National Resistance Army rebels identified as, Capt. Sula Serunjogi has died mysteriously and his body reportedly found on April 11, 2026, at his residence in Luwero district.

It’s reported that Serunjogi’s lifeless body was discovered rotting on a chair where he is believed to have breathed his last.

Preliminary findings indicate that the body may have been in the house for several days before it was discovered by his neighbors who became concerned after noticing an unusual presence of flies emerging from his residence, prompting the alert. Currently no official report regarding the cause of his death.

Prior to joining NRA rebels, Capt. Serunjogi is said to have been a tailor in Luwero district.

Departed Serunjogi made news headlines a year ago when he said that the UPDF can never allow Kyagulanyi Sentamu to be a president of Uganda and that himself can’t even salute him.

Sources say his death is allegedly linked to land grabbing that has left many of his victims in prisons.
