BREAKING: Burundi Minister Gabby Bugaga Found Dead in Vehicle

Burundi’s Minister of Communication, Gabby Bugaga, has been found dead inside his vehicle in a palm plantation in Kivoga, in an incident now under investigation.

Authorities say Bugaga’s body was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of a Toyota 4×4 at around 8:36 a.m.

Police and emergency responders quickly secured the scene, with an ambulance deployed to evacuate the body.

Officials are awaiting a prosecutor to conduct an official examination before removal, as required under procedure.

The vehicle, seen parked off-road among palm trees, showed no immediate signs of a crash. In one image, people gather near the car with a door open, while a wider view shows police, an ambulance, and other responders spread across the plantation.

The cause of death remains unknown.Authorities say a postmortem will determine whether foul play was involved
