Buchaman claims he was the intended target in Bebe Cool shooting

Former Firebase Crew singer Buchaman, born Mark Bugembe, has revealed a previously untold story about surviving a shooting incident earlier in his life.

Now serving as the Presidential Envoy on Ghetto Affairs, Buchaman disclosed that the gunfire which once targeted Bebe Cool, and left him hospitalized, was actually meant for him.

The day they shot at Bebe Cool, those bullets had to hit me.

Buchaman also opened up about his past relationship with Bobi Wine, describing a time when they shared a close, brother-like bond.

He emphasized that despite their current differences, he has no regrets about the sacrifices they made together.

A time reached when Bobi and I behaved like brothers. I don’t regret what happened and what is happening currently. We used to sacrifice a lot for Bobi Wine.

He further claimed that he played a role in connecting Bobi Wine to Nubian Li, noting that Nubian had already achieved a hit song before meeting Bobi.

According to Buchaman, tensions between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool began after one of their final performances together.

He alleged that disagreements over revenue sharing caused a fallout, claiming that Bebe Cool took all the proceeds from the show, leading to his exit from the group and influencing Bobi Wine’s decision to pursue a solo career.

“Bobi and Bebe got misunderstandings from the last show they did together. The distribution of money brought the separation because after the show, Bebe Cool made off with all the collections. Bebe then quit the group and Bobi contemplated going solo.”

Buchaman went ahead to claim that Bobi Wine met Nubian Li through him and hence there friendship went on to solidify.

“Bobi Wine meeting Nubian Li, it was through me because Nubian got a hit jam before Bobi.
