Weasel Manizo Summoned by Police Over Alleged Stabbing Incident

Singer Weasel Manizo is the center of controversy after one Sammy Amanya accused him of stabbing him and driving him to the hospital.

Sammy, who was in his hospital bed, narrated to Sanyuka TV viewers, revealing that the incident happened on 19th January, when he went to Weasel’s home to spray bedbugs. The couple allegedly returned from the bar in the morning and found Sammy with the singer’s cross bag, which he had borrowed to carry his phone during the cleaning.

They were not happy about it, and as he was in the bathroom, Weasel allegedly attacked him, stabbing him with his knuckles in the stomach. He allegedly fell unconscious, and out of fear, the singer drove him to the nearest clinic for first aid, but they advised him to take him to a bigger hospital before he died.

“Weasel himself put me on boda to Nsambya, and they operated me. I was unconscious and didn’t know. The doctors wrote that I had a trauma on my abdomen caused by a road traffic accident, which was not true, but because he had told them,” he said.

They removed his spleen and also reported damage to his small intestine, and Mr. Mayanja cleared the 8M bill from Nsambya hospital.

Sammy claimed that, following the incident, they sat down with Weasel‘s family, who told him not to expose it to the media. They promised they would take care of him and give him money for business to support his family. However, things went sideways when Sandra stopped sending him help.

“She told me that if I exposed them, she would allege that they stabbed me because I was trying to rape their daughter. This was too big an accusation for me,” he said.

Sandra Teta denied the allegations during the phone interview, revealing that Sammy was in good health but had wanted to extort them. She showed proof of money transactions that she had sent him before.

“He is very okay, but he has turned us into a business. I want him to show you all the proof of what he is saying. He should come and show us the knuckles he is saying. He is twisting his story,” she said.

Deputy Police Spokesperson for the KMP, Luke Owesigyire, confirmed that Sammy had reported the case and Weasel had been summoned to the station to answer to the charges
