BRAVO to President Museveni, Uganda is on track to start exporting refined petroleum

Uganda is taking the lead in Sub Sahara Africa as one of the best growing economies and investment destination, this was published by the International Monitory Fund (IMF) last week.

We are now ranked as a lower middle income country beside all this Uganda is in the first position in the East African region to have added over 30 new items on our export list.

And now, Uganda is on track from importing fuel to exporting refined petroleum.

The massive $4 billion oil refinery is set to reshape our Country’s entire energy future, it will slash Uganda’s dependence on imported fuel while tapping into 6.5 billion barrels of oil in place with up to 2.2 billion barrels recoverable.

When production begins, by mid or end of 2026, it will process 60,000 barrels per day, Power our local industries, Boost national revenue and equally support the new pipelines, storage huɓ, water infrastructure and the Standard Gauge rail (SGR) likely to come to life.

This is all possible due to the strong, relisilent and focused leadership of H:E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the visionary leader at the helm of National Resistance Movement (NRM) government leading Uganda to a middle income Country in the next term of office, 2026 to 2031.
