Bebe Cool and Zuena reasons for returning to school

When a video of Bebe Cool seated in a lecture room started making rounds online, the rumor mill started speculating, but the Gagamel boss has now broken his silence, and his explanation is far less dramatic but far more grounded.

Together with his wife, Zuena Kirema, they’ve made a deliberate return to the classroom, driven by growth.

Currently enrolled at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Bebe Cool says this chapter of his life is about sharpening his mind, not chasing political office. For him, education isn’t a phase but a continuous journey.

Zuena, on her part, is wrapping up her studies at Makerere University (MUK). And while Bebe Cool admits that years of public scrutiny and comparisons may have nudged her in this direction, he’s clear: the decision was hers.

“We made a decision to make success a priority,” Bebe Cool shared. “We want to go look for success first, then come back for everything else and complete the equation.” He said during a live TikTok session.
