IRAN’S Supreme Leader is so severely disfigured he requires plastic surgery and a prosthetic, new reports on his condition have revealed.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei was critically wounded during Donald Trump‘s February 28 strike, which eliminated his father and ex-regime ruler Ali Khamenei.

The tyrant in hiding, 56, has not been seen in public since he was appointed Iran‘s next Supreme Leader.

Bombshell details of his exact condition have now been revealed, according to a new report by The New York Times.

His leg was operated on three times and he is set to receive a prosthetic, the outlet claims.

The elusive dictator also had surgery on one hand, which is now reportedly slowly regaining function.

His face and lips are said to be burned severely following the deadly US-Israeli strike on Tehran earlier this year.

He still has difficulties speaking, and will eventually need plastic surgery, reports claim.

But sources said he was still mentally sharp and an important figure in the reeling regime – which has seen various top leaders wiped out over the course of the war.

Khamenei has avoided any recorded messages, video or audio, in a desperate attempt to maintain a strong image.

Access to visit him is also tightly restricted, the report says, adding that many top regime leaders stay away from him in a bid to throw off Israeli intelligence.

Khamenei is understood to communicate with other mullah chiefs via handwritten messages in sealed envelopes – which are relayed through human chains of trusted carriers.

For the time being, he is reportedly surrounded by doctors and medical staff who are treating his horrific injuries.

The Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkian, who previously trained as a heart surgeon, is believed to be involved in his care, and so is the health minister.

The most important decisions for him have been delegated to a group of Iranian generals, due to the difficulties reaching him.

There are also mounting fears he is currently surrounded by many hardline Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps leaders – who may pressure him to take on radical views.

It comes after several reports detailing the Ayatollah’s condition, with US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth previously claiming he was severely wounded and likely disfigured.

Earlier this week, Tehran reportedly laid more mines in the Strait of Hormuz, as oil prices continue to soar amid the spiralling key waterway saga.

Moments before the attack, Pahlavi had denounced the US-Iran ceasefire.

It also comes after dramatic footage showed US forces leaping down from helicopters to seize yet another Iranian-linked oil tanker.

Washington released footage of Thursday’s seizure of the Majestic X oil tanker vessel in the Indian Ocean.

Troops fast-roped down onto the deck of the vessel as they boarded the sanctioned ship via multiple helicopters.

The release of the footage came just hours after Iran shared video claiming to show balaclava-clad naval forces seizing a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

IRGC boats terrorised three commercial ships with gunfire, warning that all US vessels were “legitimate targets” after spurning Trump’s peace talks offer.

Armed IRGC agents deployed on gunboats reportedly opened fire on the Greek-owned container ship MSC Epaminondas before boarding and threatening the crew.
