Kawempe family reunited with missing son after over a year
A family in Kawempe has been reunited with their missing son, following an emotional breakthrough that has ended more than a year of uncertainty and anguish. The child, Jordan Augustine Omuse, disappeared on March 16th, 2025, during chaotic scenes linked to the Kawempe North by-election, after reportedly running off upon seeing armoured vehicles and security personnel.
For the last year, one month, and eleven days, the family lived in distress with no trace of his whereabouts until a relative recently spotted him in footage aired on NTV last Friday.
