Navigating the Fuel Crisis in Uganda: Insights, Impact, and What’s Next. Local celebrities dive deep into the current fuel shortage affecting Uganda and the daily struggles it creates for the citizens.

The Ugandan entertainment industry, made up of artists, emcees, deejays, and producers, has often faced different challenges, but when the fuel crisis hits, everything stands still.

In an interaction with Dax Vibez, Karole Kasita, A Pass, Artin, Top Boy MC, Levixone, and DJ Roja, what stands out for them is how the high fuel prices affect their fans and, in theend, impact their own careers.

It also increases costs for many things, including beers and event tickets, which in the end reduces the number of people attending events and hence crippling their daily sources of income and livelihood.

“As an entertainer, I have several shows to perform, and promoters increase the ticket prices. I just pray the prices don’t change too much because the increase affects everything, including beer, which reduces the number of people at the bar,” Roja says.

Artists call upon the government, wealthy citizens, and God to provide solutions to the problem before it worsens.
