PDM SACCO membership expanded to include all parish residents

The government has announced a series of reforms to the Parish Development Model SACCOs aimed at strengthening governance, improving transparency, and expanding community participation. The changes follow concerns over exclusion, weak oversight, and reported cases of misuse of funds in some areas. Under the new guidelines, membership to PDM SACCOs has been expanded to include all parish residents, while access to the Parish Revolving Fund remains restricted to registered enterprise groups.
