Lawyer Peter Muliira Dies
Lawyer and former Buganda Kingdom Minister for Heritage, Palaces, Tombs, Tourism and Security, Peter Muliira, is dead.
Muliira’s death was announced by the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, on Saturday through his X (formerly Twitter) account.
“The late Muliira was an intelligent person, researching and writing about issues he was passionate for,” he wrote.
The deceased was born to the late Eldard and Rebecca Muliira.
His mother was a daughter of Ssekiboobo Ham Mukasa, and she was a sister to Victoria Nalwanga, the mother of Namasole Sarah Nalule, who is the mother of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
Further details and the official funeral programme are expected to be communicated in due course.
