Kadoma man kills brother in farm dispute

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) says it has arrested a man and charged with fratricide.

A bulletin read, “The ZRP confirms the arrest of Maenzanise Gumbeze (36) in connection with a case of murder which occurred on 30 April 2026 at Queensdale Farm, Gweshe, Kadoma.”

Gumbeze allegedly stabbed his brother, Desire Philimon Makombe (29), once on the chest with a kitchen knife following a dispute over ownership of the family farm.

The victim died on the spot.
