Breaking News: Museveni Names New Deputy Chief Justice
President Museveni has today appointed Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi as the new Deputy Chief Justice to fill the position which has been vacant since January this year when the then Deputy Chief Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija was named Chief Justice.
The president also appointed Her Worship Agnes Alum as the New Chief Registrar.
The names of the appointees have been sent to Parliament’s Appointments Committee which is yet to be put in place since the MPs are yet to vote for the Speaker and Deputy who chair that committee and other members like the Leader of Opposition.

The appointments were confirmed in a statement released by the President’s Press Unit and via the State House Social Media pages.
