Sacks of money recovered from Namere’s Munyonyo home
Earlier in the day of Friday, Masaka city woman MP Justin Namere loaded airtime and rang hundreds of new MPs of NRM calling on them to boycot Oboth-Oboth’s function that has been organized for Saturday in home area of Mukono.
Her phone was being monitored and it was clear she was promising the new MPs endless money if they accepted to do what was being asked of them. Security became keen and began trailing her activities because it was all aimed at frustrating Oboth-Oboth mobilisation to become the next speaker.
David Kabanda was tasked to release a tweet cautioning her to stop it or else get picked for questioning. This is how it ended in tears for Namere who cried like a widowed woman as she was being arrested by armed men amid heavy shooting in Masaka Friday night.
After being interrogated for hours about the source of the money she had spent the day flashing at MPs, a crying Namere was driven to Kampalka amidst tight security late into the night. She was delivered to her new home in Munyonyo for a search by her captors.
The search resulted into hundreds of sacks of money in billions in 50k notes being recovered from her house in Munyonyo and she will have to answer where she got it from given her history of being a broke struggling wannabe in Kampala who had nothing on herself until a few months ago. She would even struggle to get a meal but all of a sudden she is swimming in billions.
It’s now clear that Namere has revealed a lot of incriminating information already to the investigators and other Anita Among group members like Kateshumbwa are going to be next. Kateshumbwa has reportedly been talking ill of Muhoozi’s PLU which is why Kabanda wants him punished and taught a bitter lesson.
