Nina Roz Reveals Fear of Polygamy Is Holding Back Her Conversion to Islam

Singer Nina Roz has addressed Sheebah Karungi’s recent opinion about being in a polygamous marriage, making it clear that she didn’t support it.

For the past few months, Nina Roz has been dressing in Muslim attire and also got a Muslim name, Husnah. She has, over time, expressed her strong admiration for Islam as a religion, citing their deep rooted principles despite not officially declaring the Islamic faith.

While addressing members of the press, Nina Roz explained that the reason as to why she was hesitant to officially convert from Christianity was because she was afraid of being in a polygamous marriage, which is widely embraced by the religion.

Regarding Sheebah’s recent confession that she was open to indulging a polygamous marriage, Nina Roz begged to differ, describing herself as one of the most jealous women who couldn’t stand sharing a man.

She revealed that she was preserving herself for the right Muslim man who believes in a monogamous relationship.

“The reason as to why I’m hesitant to convert is a man making me his other wife with all my beauty. Differentiate between her and me. I’m Nina Roz. There are women who know their worth. For as long as I know, there are Muslim men who still choose to be with one wife. I do not want to have a co-wife because I’m too jealous. I want to be wife number one, two, three and four. Do not confuse me with anyone else. I know men are out there that is why I’m preserving myself to wait for my Muslim man,” she said.
