Kyambogo University introduces new degree programmes at Paidha campus
Kyambogo University has introduced three additional undergraduate programmes at its Paidha branch campus in Zombo district, northern Uganda.
Dr Joseph Rwothomio, acting head of department in education and focal point person for Kyambogo University Paidha branch, said the new programmes are targeting self-sponsored ‘A’ level entrants for the 2026/2027 academic year, with intake scheduled for August 2026.
He explained that the programmes will operate under the normal weekday study arrangement.
The newly introduced programmes include Bachelor of Education Primary, Bachelor of Vocational Agriculture with Education, and Bachelor of Business Administration.
Rwothomio said registration is already ongoing both at the Paidha campus and online, urging interested students to apply.
Kyambogo University’s Paidha branch campus, which was opened in 2024, initially started with programmes targeting in-service teachers and has since been offering diploma and bachelor’s courses in primary education.
