The 2025/26 Premier League season is over but a number of teams are already excited for next term, having sealed their spots in Europe on the last day.

Places in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League were all up for grabs of the final day of the campaign. The Premier League could have as many as nine representatives in Europe once this season's competitions come to an end.

But which clubs will be going on a continental cruise next term, while others stay home and watch?

Find out which clubs have qualified Europe for next season and which competition they will be playing in:

Champions League

Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool

Let's get the easy ones out of the way first and foremost. Champions Arsenal have obviously booked their place in Europe's premier competition and will be joined by runners-up Manchester City.

Manchester United will also return to the Champions League following an impressive run of form under Michael Carrick. Aston Villa will also be in next season's competition by virtue of their Europa League success against Freiburg. Villa's fourth-placed finish would also have been enough to see them qualify, with their 2-1 win against Manchester City on the final day rounding off an impressive campaign.

This is where it gets slightly complicated. The Premier League were handed an extra spot due to its UEFA coefficient, with fifth place enough to secure a place.

Liverpool's draw with Brentford on the last day saw the dethroned champions seal the final Champions League spot.

Europa League

Bournemouth, Sunderland

With the FA Cup having been won by Manchester City, that place drops down to sixth in the league. Bournemouth secure that spot, having been held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest on the final day.

There was a circumstance that would have seen the Cherries secure a Champions League spot - but only if Aston Villa had finished sixth. As it is, the Cherries are in the Europa League.

Sunderland will join them after snatching seventh with a win against Chelsea at the Stadium of Light on the last day. Trai Hume had given the Black Cats a first-half lead, with Malo Gusto then putting through his own net.

Crystal Palace will be added to this list should they beat Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League final next week.

Conference League

Brighton

With City also lifting the Carabao Cup at Wembley, that saw the final European place drop down to eighth in the Premier League. A number of clubs could have snatched that final spot including Chelsea.

But it was Brighton who will be the Premier League's sole representatives in the competition. They fell to a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on the last day but results going their way elsewhere sees them return to Europe.
