KCCA loses Billions In Ghost Workers As Politicians Demand Forensic Audit

The political head of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has tusked the Central Administration to conduct at Forensic Audit in all KCCA workers as the new Financial year begins, Spyreports has learnt.

The Forensic Audit came after some politicians got intelligence information that the Authority has lost billions of tax payers money in ghost workers.

In a petition filed by LV Councilor for Makerere University Hon Amon Bagonza, to Director Administration and Human Resource, he claims that the 2024 Auditor General’s report showed that there was financial loss in KCCA due to ghost workers.

“Making the KCCA employees list public will also lead to improved service delivery as people will know which office to approach in case they need help,” reads part of the petition
