World Commemorates Posthumous Birthday of Mowzey Radio
Today, January 25, 2024, the world comes together to celebrate the posthumous birthday of the late Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, better known as Mowzey Radio, who would have turned 39 years old.
In a heartfelt statement shared on the official social media accounts of the iconic music duo Radio & Weasel, a simple yet poignant message read, “Happy Posthumous Birthday Moses.” The global fanbase of the duo has been expressing their love and remembrance for the talented artist throughout the day.
Mowzey Radio, known for his soulful voice and musical prowess, tragically passed away on February 1, 2028, at Case Hospital in Kampala. His untimely death came after a violent altercation at De Bar in Entebbe Municipality, during which he sustained severe internal head injuries, leading to critical damage to his skull.
Following the incident, Mowzey Radio was initially rushed to Nsambya Hospital for urgent first aid before being transferred to Case Hospital, where he fought for his life for nearly a week. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the talented vocalist succumbed to his injuries, leaving a void in the music industry and the hearts of countless fans.
Mowzey Radio was laid to rest in Kagga-Nakawuka, Wakiso district, where friends, family, and fans paid their last respects to the departed artist. As the world marks what would have been his 39th birthday, tributes and messages of love continue to pour in, remembering the indelible impact he made on the music scene.
