The head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Edith Nakalema, has publicly appealed to former Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe to return property and belongings she allegedly took from her former husband following the collapse of their marriage.

Speaking during an interview, Nakalema claimed that Nantumbwe separated from her husband, Bukenya Saidi, and left their marital home with his belongings. She urged the former beauty queen to reconsider her actions and make amends.

Nantumbwe, please. God gave you a blessing, but the devil made you take the man’s belongings. This is the same man you chose and introduced to your parents. Instead, you and your mother came and took his property.

I pray to God that you reconsider. You will not enjoy the man’s things while he is there crying. Repent and return the man’s belongings.

Nantumbwe and Saidi Bukenya formalized their relationship in 2025 through private traditional ceremonies and a civil wedding.

However, reports later emerged indicating that the couple had gone their separate ways, although neither party has publicly disclosed detailed reasons behind the breakup.
