General David Sejusa, once a key figure in Uganda’s National Resistance Army (NRA), has opened up about his life after retirement.

The decorated officer, who officially retired in 2023 after years of legal battles, described his journey as one filled with pride, conflict, and disappointment. Sejusa, formerly known as Tinyefuza, played a major role in the NRA movement that brought President Yoweri Museveni to power in 1986.

However, his relationship with the government became rocky, particularly after he accused Museveni of grooming his son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, to take over the presidency in a scheme he called the "Muhoozi project."
