Manchester United rejects offers for Benjamin Šeško this summer
The Slovenian striker is staying put at Old Trafford despite reported interest from La Liga clubs
Manchester United has no intention of parting ways with Benjamin Šeško this summer. The club is rebuffing interest from Spanish clubs, signaling that the 22-year-old Slovenian striker remains central to their plans heading into next season.
The Šeško situation
Šeško arrived at Old Trafford from RB Leipzig in August 2025, completing a transfer worth approximately €85 million including add-ons. He signed a five-year contract running through June 2030.
During the 2025/26 season, Šeško made at least 30 appearances and scored 11 goals.
Why Spanish clubs are circling
No confirmed bids have been publicly reported from any specific La Liga club. The interest appears to exist more in the realm of inquiries and exploratory conversations. United’s position is straightforward: he’s not available.
