David Lutalo Clarifies Controversial Microphone Cleaning After King Saha Used It

Da Hares’ singer David Lutalo has come out to defend his action of cleaning a microphone shortly after fellow singer King Saha had used it.

A few weeks back, King Saha and David Lutalo made an appearance at veteran Kadongo Kamu singer Kazibwe Kapo’s press conference.

It is here that they pledged support for the fellow singer and engaged in speeches to give the celebrated Kadongo Kamu star his flowers.

What caught attendees’ attention, however, was David Lutalo’s gesture of cleaning the microphone with his outfit after King Saha had used it.Following the harsh social media criticism, David Lutalo defended his action, saying he harbours no grudge against King Saha, but it is rather one of his principles whenever he is going to give a speech at any public gathering.

Lutalo stressed that we live in an era of diseases like cough, Ebola, flu, and others, hence he sees it wise to clean or sanitize the microphone before it is passed on to the next speaker.

He maintained that he usually sanitizes the microphone before he passes it on to the next person, urging King Saha and other artists to follow the same path to avoid the consequences that could come with not doing so.
