Katanga Murdered on Day He Planned to Make Will' Slain Businessman' Eldest Sister Tells Court
The High Court heard that city businessman Henry Katanga was murdered on the very day he had arranged to meet his lawyers to draft his will.
The testimony came from his elder sister, Naume Nyangwesho, during the ongoing trial where Katanga’s wife, Molly Katanga, and four others are facing murder charges.
Nyangwesho, a 56-year-old businesswoman, testified before Judge Isaac Muwata that her brother had expressed fears about his wife, Molly, possibly plotting to kill him. According to her testimony, Henry had recently become suspicious of his wife’s intentions, urging Naume to reduce her frequent phone calls to him, as he suspected Molly was tracking his phone.
