Tears As DNA Tests Identify Only Four Out Of 25 As Late Musician Paul Kafeero’s Children

Uganda Police Headquarters were this morning a scene of uncertainty and tears as children of the late Musician Paul Kafero gathered for the release of their DNA tests results which were taken following the exhumation of their late father three weeks ago.

On 2nd this month after a long battle among children of the late Kafero and following a court order, police exhumed late Kafeero’s remains and picked samples for a comprehensive DNA analysis to settle the long standing confusion among the children.

On the first day, over 38 showed up to be tested but this number reduced to 25 whose DNA samples were picked to be run alongside those picked from the remains of their late father who died 19 years ago.

Police has today released the list and the DNA findings have shocked many but settled the confusion surrounding the exact number of Children the late Kadongo kamu musician left behind. Results released by police have confirmed only four children out of the 25 who were tested.

Championed by former Minister for Youth and Children’s affairs and now Local government Minister Balaam Barugahara, four children are the only one’s identified and these include Benedicto Kafeero, Simon Peter Kafeero, Thomas Swaz Kafeero and Elizabeth Nagawa.
