Cindy Sanyu rules out music battles, eyes Bebe Cool collaboration

Cindy Sanyu has revealed that she is open to collaborating with Bebe Cool, saying she believes the long-awaited project will eventually happen despite several unsuccessful attempts in the past.

Speaking recently, Cindy ruled out the possibility of taking part in another music battle like the one she had with Sheebah Karungi, saying she would rather focus on making music. While she joked that a showdown with Bebe Cool would be more likely than with anyone else, she admitted she would much rather work with him on a song.

According to Cindy, the two artists have already met in the studio four times in an effort to create music together. She revealed that one of their earliest attempts involved her hit song “Ndi Mukodo,” which she had hoped would feature both Bebe Cool and Navio. However, after listening to the track, Bebe Cool felt something was missing and decided not to be part of it.

Cindy added that their other studio sessions have also ended without a release, despite recording songs and even bringing in songwriters.

She explained that once the songs are completed, either Bebe Cool or herself ends up feeling unsatisfied with the final product, forcing them to shelve the project and try again another time.

Despite the setbacks, Cindy remains optimistic that they will eventually find the right song. She praised Bebe Cool for the respect he has always shown her and said the feeling is mutual.

I’m sure our collaboration is coming. One day we shall sit on a beat, both agree on it and release it. He gives me a lot of respect, and I do too.
